Gloria started creating and designing custom cakes about 7 years ago after 27 years at IBM. Wanting to do something fun and creative, she discovered Atlanta had one of the premier sugar art instructors, Nicholas Lodge, and took nearly every class Nick offered.
 
"People began to call me the cake lady," says Gloria, "because I would make a cake for any occasion." Then, when she created a cake for Ludacris, her business snowballed from there ... and she became known as a "celebrity cake lady."
 
Gloria's business has grown by word of mouth; people seemed surprised our cakes look good and taste good. She says, "Our goal is to provide a delicious and well decorated cake that exceeds the client's expectations. As owner, I decorate every premier, shaped, and sculpted cake myself. I have a cake studio where I choose to focus on the client's special cake rather than provide daily baked goods."
